Yangarra Estate is a beautiful property in the northern eastern corner of McLaren Vale producing rhone style wines such as grenache, shiraz and rousanne. The winemaking techniques adopt traditional, minimalist intervention practices such as wild fermentation, basket pressing, amphoras, ceramic eggs and large format oak foudre to produce lovely wines that honour the certified biodynamic and organic farming practices taking place in the vineyard.
Tonight winemaker, Peter Fraser, McLaren Vale's iconic producer from Yangarra Estate will be hosting a virtual tasting direct from the winery at 6:15pm. For the 7.30pm tasting and dinner, Peter will provide an initial tasting of the wines before leaving us to enjoy them over a matching three course dinner that Andres Argon from Jackson Family Wines will host for us.
The 6:15pm wine tasting, will provide the opportunity to taste six wines for just $20 and you can make a booking here.
The 7:45pm wine tasting and dinner is $70, and you can make a booking here.
Those joining us for the 6.15pm tasting are welcome to stay on afterwards for dinner downstairs, but will need to make a separate reservation to guarantee a table.
